Serve the leftovers warm. Slightly heat in the microwave and the apple crisp is good to go again. Like you, we only have 2 people, so most of our recipes I cut in half. Funny though, my mom always likes her crisps warm/hot, my husband likes his chilled. Good luck.

It was great; however maybe you should only make it if you have company. There are only two of us. I left the apple crisp in the cake pan and refrigerated it The next day the cake was as hard as cement.

Is there any resolution for this?
